I have written a Mirror Cinquain.
smoke curls
in the still night
the scent of burning wood
warmth and comfort in the brisk air
moonlit
shadows
through the haze and smell of autumn
whispers in crackling flames
promises made
hearts spark

Sweater weather indeed, but I’ll go for the crackle of leaves underfoot, the sussuration from windblown trees above, as I hike off-trsil dirt paths! 🍂🍂😍
