Today at RDP, we are asked to share a
story, poem, photo, painting, essay, etc.,
focusing on the word ‘pass’. Here’s my take.
“Excuse me. I don’t usually do this sort of thing and you can tell by my accent that I’m not from around here, but I couldn’t help noticing from where I’m sitting, the angle of the sun on your hair makes it look like spun gold.”
She smiled shyly, looking up through thick lashes. “Why, I believe you’re making a pass at me!”
“Would that be so bad? Hi, I’m Charlie and you are perfection.”
