Today at RDP, we are asked to share a
story, poem, photo, painting, essay, etc.,
focusing on the word ‘ephemera’. Here’s my take.

She gave a little gasp upon finding the box. There were papers, letters, trinkets …. all sort of ephemera …. but it was that one B&W photo that brought a tear to her eye.

Our wedding photos were ‘black and white’, Nancy … Here is the Big O, from his “Black and White Night,” Concert, Jan 3rd, 1988.

Even the comical photos have a certain nostalgia the colorized ones don’t. Thanks, Ange.

We keep all our family photos in one big box instead of albums. Every so often, especially when the grandkids are here, we’ll look at random pix pulled from the box. The kids love hearing the stories attached to the photos. It’s a fabulous way to spend a few hours with the family.
