Written for Crispina’s Crimson’s
Creative Challenge #049. I chose pic #4
Here’s where the image took me.

A tiny spinner, soft and slow,
Weaves a net where breezes blow.
Each silver line, a silent gleam,
A secret, sparkling, sunrise dream.
Then morning sun begins to rise,
And jewels appear before our eyes.
Small beads of dew, so pure and bright,
A magic dress of dawning light.
It sways and shines, a fragile lace,
Held gently in its hidden place.
A silent wonder, light and true,
For us to stop and gaze into.

Such a lovely poem Nancy you caught the delicate nature perfectly and these lines are fab :
‘Then morning sun begins to rise,/And jewels appear before our eyes.‘ Which is exactly what it’s like 🙌

I was so taken by the delicacy and symmetry of this web. It’s really quite amazing when you think about it. Thank you, dear Sadje.

The spider 🕷️ web is so beautiful and intricate that humans are amazed by it.

This is very true and even better when we have the chance to actually watch a spider making its web. Thank you, dear Sadje.

This was a happy bit of luck for me with everything falling nicely into place. It’s a real bonus when that happens! Thanks very much, Lisa. I’m pleased to know you enjoyed this one.

Lovely weaving Nancy, … seems like we’ve had more spiders in the garden this year, … more woven beauties to wonder at, …( so long as they don’t weave by the back door , … I hate walking through them , wondering if the spiders are in my hair,…🕷️🕸️) 💙

Walking through invisible spider webs is never fun and that buggy feeling gives me the goosies. 🕸️ Surprising to hear you’ve had more spiders than usual this summer, considering it’s been so dry outside. 🕷️ Maybe they’ve been hiding from the heat! 😎
Thank you, dear Penn.
