Written for Cinquain Poetry Prompt #14.
Our inspiration word is “control”. I have
written a Mirror Cinquain, a 10-line,
single stanza poem with a syllable pattern
of 2-4-6-8-2-8-6-4-2

A spark
Ignites in me
Is this joy or madness
The rules I knew begin to bend
I drift
Carried away by your current
I crave the taste of you
I have fallen
Catch me

Yes indeed …. very easy to sing that one. Thanks, Penn. I saw that image a while ago and saved it, thinking I’d find use for it one day. It screams “PASSION”. ❤️🔥
