Helen was a stunning, elegant-looking woman accustomed to admiring glances; she wasn’t surprised when people looked her way as she dined alone in her favorite French restaurant. This particular night was a little different, however, as people seemed to be intrigued and even amused by something instead of simply appreciative of her good looks. Helen started feeling quite uncomfortable and quickly finished her dinner, asked for the check and left the restaurant. It wasn’t until she got home and removed her coat that she discovered she was wearing her blouse inside-out and back to front! You would think as a frequent patron of the restaurant, the maître d’ would have said something. How mortifying!

  1. This happened to me! Not back to front but I went to dinner with my husband and the in-laws and when I took my jacket off my top was inside out!

I even asked my husband before we left if I looked okay and he just grunted a yeah without even looking.

    I was fuming.

  2. Sounds like she had too much on her mind that day. Perhaps she could do with a ladies’ maid – Poor Helen! Thank you for sharing this with our challenge, Nancy.

    1. Yeah, I don’t think that fad lasted too long.

Bill and I went for our annual check up a few weeks ago. When it came time for him to remove his T shirt, we realized it was on backwards! I guess the doctor felt it wasn’t necessary to test our cognitive awareness after that! 😂
