Prompt #418 using the word ‘annex’
in exactly 44 words. This is my flash.

During my last year at the elementary school, a high school annex was constructed. The two buildings were not attached; I was constantly subjected to the ever-changing weather. During my final days of high school, a connecting enclosed passageway was built. What lousy timing.

We had that too, there was a covered walkway on one of the buildings but not the other- No clue. Excellent take

Go figure, right? I tried going with a pic of myself. I asked ChatGPT to make me look younger but I think they thought I was some kind of perv! 😂

Thanks, Sis! I asked ChatGPT to have the girl in the photo look like me, but when I saw the image, I looked pretty old. I then asked to make me look younger and they came back with some smart ass comment about not being miracle workers! 😂

I remember the first couple of months when going to the new college campus, and road/track into the new building wasn’t completed, and we had to don gumboots to get through the muddy puddles to go to our lectures … Haha, there was a “gumboot box” outside the classroom door … Those were the days. Those gumboots must have made quite a mess in the hallways! Funny story, dear Ivor, and one that remained with you for obvious reasons. Strange little video and a song I’ve loved for a long time. Thank you!

I think video kind of matched my strange circumstances… yes, things were messy, but there lots of fun and frivolity about the muddy situation 📘🌏😍

I’m sure you and your school mates had many good laughs! I can almost picture it now, dear Ivor! 🥰🌏📓🎶😎

My high school was 4 different buildings, none of them had covered walkways!
