Etheree, Poem

Night Air

Written for Eugi’s Moonwashed Weekly
Prompt
, incorporating ‘forests cloaked’,
‘undisclosed’ and ‘purple haze’.
This is my response, an etheree.

Deep
within
forests cloaked
in purple haze
soft whispers unfurl
as old trees breathe night air.
Veils of mist weave memories
beneath a carpet of moss green.
Undisclosed tales dance with graceful twirls
and branches plait a tapestry of lore.

  1. Oh, this is stunning, Nancy. A beautiful pairing of your words and the video.

    Love these lines:

Undisclosed tales dance with graceful twirls
and branches plait a tapestry of lore.

  2. Once again, how coincidental Nancy. A Nick Cave concert (Paris) had just came into my YT feed and I told myself I will watch it in the coming days. I hadn’t heard this Cave song you presented. I liked the instrumentals. Have a great day amiga.

    1. As the Moody Blues once asked, “Isn’t life strange?” I love these little quirks of serendipity that happen between people. I don’t believe in coincidence so there’s a reason behind them. What it is, I don’t know …. maybe it’s just something as simple as enjoying Nick Cave’s music! I’m down with that!
