Prompts Wednesday Challenge (‘stodgy’), and
Sue & Gerry’s Weekly Prompts Weekend Challenge  
(‘dainty’). In 71 words exactly, this is my little story.

Adam and Giselle met up with Travis and Delilah for drinks. The girls were longtime friends; Adam and Travis had never met. As the evening wore on, it became obvious that the guys were flirting with each other, much to the girl’s chagrin. Delilah declared “If I’d known this was going to turn into a man-date, I’d have worn my stodgy undies, not my dainty ones!” And the girls stormed out.
