Oh,
gay birds,
sing to me!
Taste the nectar
in all its sweetness
and keep me company
till my love is here again.
Oh, busy bee, come sit with me.
Tell me of your winter in the hive.
Feel the sun’s warmth on your little faces.
Tell me of your winter in the hive,
oh, busy bee. Come sit with me
till my love is here again
and keep me company.
In all its sweetness,
taste the nectar.
Sing to me,
gay birds.
Oh!
