Damnation! It’s freezing and I forgot my gloves!
I’m standing to the right of these screeching macaques trying to appear nonchalant. I swear their beady eyes can read minds. If they detect I’m scared, I’m a goner …. even though they’re sedated. Yes, I understand they’re worth a hefty sum but why do I always get the shit job of babysitter? The buyer was supposed to have arrived twenty minutes ago.
Wait…..here comes the helicopter now. Oh my god! They’re air-dropping monkeys…..and they’re not sedated! I gotta get outta here before it’s too late.
AARRGH! It’s too late! Oh, the humanity!

I’ve had some pretty “unfun” jobs in the past when I was young, but this one sounds pretty terrible, freezing and monkeys with big teeth. Entertaining tale, Nancy!

They are terrifying indeed! It makes me very angry when I hear about poaching and other forms of disrespect/mistreatment of animals. 😡 I hope I addressed that topic while keeping the story ‘lite’; judging by comments such as yours, I think the message was received. 😀
