Using one of the very cool graphics from Kevin
at No Theme Thursday, this has been written for
dVerse Poets Quadrille #214 – “Going Out With A Bang”.
Theme suggested by Punam; this is my 44 word quadrille.

He’s a space cowboy,
not some little girl’s boy toy.
Watch him soar
on a voyage where no man has gone before.
Got a rocket in his pocket.
Banging a gong like King Kong.
The final surprise.
‘Scuse me while I kiss the sky.

Just time, yanno? I participate when I participate so if I feel I won’t have time to read and comment on others’, then I don’t do it. Time consuming AF this blogging biz

That’s such a cool Q, Nancy, with all those refrences! You get extra points for including a track (very apt) from one of my favourites.

Thanks so much, Punam! I’m delighted you enjoyed my Q. A story, no matter how short, always needs a soundtrack!

Thanks, Kevin. I remember the poem you wrote which incorporated songs. It’s really difficult to do and yours was much longer than mine. Thanks for the inspiration! 😎
