Your soil looks like sand! Gorgeous blossoms, Nancy.

It’s dry as hell here and we’re restricted to every other day watering. We watered the day before these pix were taken and you can see how parched the soil is. It dried up drastically in just one day. We’ve had hot temps and no rain for over one month. It’s awful. Those flowers are incredibly resilient!

The flowers inspire us not to give up hope. If they can bloom in that, we can also bloom in the dust of the world ❤

The weather has been ridiculously warm and dry here. We haven’t had rain in more than a month and we’re only allowed to water our yards every other day. These wildflowers aren’t done with us yet!
Thanks, Plaridel

Super dry here too, it amazes me how flowers survive and look so pretty!

Their resilience is remarkable and something we can learn from. Hope you’re starting to feel better after the loss of your sweet girl. 🌈🐾🐾

Thanks Nancy, always learning! Resilience is much needed in life. I’m just starting to resume some normal stuff, and accepting that it’s okay to look at some positive things, like travel for more than 3 days!

Good for you, Tiffany! Everyone has heard the expression that time heals all wounds. It’s not true, you know. Nothing heals them. Time just softens the blow. Cherish your memories.

Brilliance! And surprising to see Ann Margaret so still…used to seeing reels of her dancing, instead. Expressive voice, weet and sultry energy.

I didn’t notice until after I posted the vid that this was a screen test! I wonder how young she is there (you can see I really did my homework for this one! LOL!) And you’re right; she’s usually prancing around like a gorgeous gazelle in everything she does!

Screen test?! Wow, hire that girl!

Nice. The soil looks very dry, I hope they are not too thirsty!
Delightful track.

OMGosh, Keith! No rain here in more than a month! It is terribly dry and we have been asked to water our yards every other day. What you’re seeing here is from a ‘no water day’. We haven’t been put on drought status yet but the reservoirs are low. Unfortunately, there’s no rain in our forecast.
I’m glad you enjoyed a sweet flashback by Ann-Margret.

Thanks, Eugi! As much as I love the warm weather, there’s something bizarre to be hanging Halloween decorations outside in 80º weather!

You’re not kidding, Kevin! We had a frost two weeks ago then 80ºF yesterday and today. We are having an official Indian Summer.
Thanks!

I know my sinuses are not happy with all the fluctuations. I need nature to pick a lane 😆

Sinus headaches, infections and allergies are a total drag! We need a good soaking rain to wash things clean. Hope you feel better soon!

And the air pressure to stay stable for more than a minute LOL
Thanks! Thank God for sinus pills 😄
