SOLSTICE BLESSING

Native American Solstice Blessing

May the peace of the promise of the solstice night

That each day forward is blessed with more light

That the cycle of nature, unbroken, and true

Brings faith to your soul and well-being to you

Rejoice in the darkness, in the silence find rest

And may the days that follow be abundantly blessed

  1. Happy Winter Solstice, Nancy!
    Perfect music to match… what a loss for us and our planet is the extermination of civilisations and cultures like the American Indians.

    May you and your loved ones bathe in the winter light.

    1. Grazie, caro. I felt the same way about the music as you did.
      I have a great affection and affinity for the Native Americans;
      my blood runs cold when I think of their “extermination” and other civilizations that were extinguished.

      I deeply appreciate your beautiful wish.
