Written for RDP, where Martha asks us
to get creative with the word “harbor”.
Thanks, Martha! Here’s where the prompt took me.

We walked to the harbor yesterday; surprising to see everything was still quite frozen.
Maybe after last night’s rain and the forecasted warm-up for this weekend, the landscape will shed its winter coat.
Waiting for warm sun and a spring thaw.

It is a nice 81 degrees here. Been doing a little yard clean up this week. I do miss the snow (not living in it of course)

It’s magic! 🪄✨ hahaha!
We had a couple of days with temps in the 40s and some heavy rain so a lot of the snow melted. What’s remaining are the piles of snow after shoveling. Another week or so, and it should all be gone.

I love the picture and the little story, too.

Thanks so much, Kymber. It’s nice to be able to walk just a few minutes to the water.

Yes, but a week or two of nice temps and sunshine, and it will start to warm up beautifully. Thanks, Esther.

It looks pretty, though. Spring ahead this weekend…the real thing is not far behind!
