De Jackson, has offered up the
word “smile”. Here is my quadrille.

The golden sun begins to set too low
We linger where the chilly shadows grow
Hand in hand, a grip we can’t untie
A heavy silence masks this hard goodbye
Through my tears I see your fragile smile
Staying here for just another mile
