RDP Wednesday: dwindle

Written for RDP, where sgeoil asks us
to get creative with the word ‘dwindle’.
Thanks Heather! Here’s my take.

The daylight hours dwindle fast
My bank account cannot last
The hair atop my head grows thin
I have no patience for my kin!

The wrapping paper’s running low
My energy? Where did it go?
The cookies dwindle from the plate,
(I ate them all – they tasted great!)

My willpower dwindles, that’s no shock,
As does the time left on the clock,
Yes, everything shrinks without fail
Except, of course, my growing scale!
