#444 where we’re asked to be creative in
exactly 47 words using the word ‘fluent’.
Here’s where the prompt took me.

My friends apologize for every texting error they make. “Sorry, damn autocorrect!” they write. “Oops! Ignore that!”
Their panicky emojis amuse me. Why does it matter so much? Language adapts, meaning persists.
I never correct them. Why would I? Perfection is overrated. Besides, I’m fluent in typo.
