Cinquain, Poem

Cloud Nine

Written for Cinquain Poetry Prompt #18.
Our inspiration word is “think”. I have
 written a Mirror Cinquain, a 10-line,
single stanza poem with a syllable pattern
of 2 – 4 – 6 – 8 – 2 – 2 – 8 – 6 – 4 – 2.

Cloud Watching- Digital, by Greg Newbold

Drifting.
Magic happens
As our cares float away.
I think, “how do they know to change?”
Shaping.
Forming.
Monkeys morphing into dragons.
A pirate ship sails by.
I watch the clouds
Shifting.
