Autumn Breeze

Here’s were the prompt word took me.

The long days fade, a golden hum,
The last bright warmth of summer’s sun
Still glimmers on the sleepy green.
A sweet, soft memory, unseen.

The morning air grows clear and clean,
A cooler light begins to gleam.
On leaves now brushed with fire and gold,
A shimmering new story’s told.

The world lets go, with grace and ease,
Carried by the autumn breeze.
