Written for Crispina’s Crimson’s
Creative Challenge #046. I chose pic #1
and here’s my Dectina Refrain.

Where
are all
the people?
No one in sight
on this summer day.
No beachgoers on chairs.
No swimmers in the water.
No ferry and no fishing boats.
I have a bad feeling about this.
Where are all the people? No one in sight.

Good question. Where are the people. I didn’t intentionally make it so, but for the sake of your poem I am glad it was so.
People: very few around at that time of morning.
Traffic: I had tried to time the shot to get traffic in, but despite that bridge is usually busy, nah, not a buzz of tires. It was about 6:30 am

Thanks for the explanation, Crispina. I couldn’t help noticing the lack of people or activity in your photos. The early hour likely has something to do with it.

It’s the bulk of the explanation. And we tend to walk the less frequented ways

I just asked Crispina about the lack of any other people when she takes her Sunday strolls. Nicely done.

My wife and I rented a hotel room down the shore for our Summer vacation and one day we got up early and there was a thick fog and we went to the beach and nobody was there. We listened to the waves crashing on the beach and since we were in our own private world, we had sex on the beach, which made me fall back asleep. I woke up about two hours later and the beach was packed with people and the fog had lifted and it was going to be a beautiful day,
