Today is my dadβs birthday, born in Sicily in 1915. He always made a point of telling people he was born on Bastille Day, which struck me as odd considering weβre not French, not even a little bit.
Happy Birthday, Dad and Happy Bastille Day, mesa mis!

Your Pop has that essence of cool, sitting on that bench. Nice pic, and lovely words for your father.

We don’t ever think of our parents as cool …. until we see pix such as this one. There was a time when he definitely had it going on.
Thanks Phil.

This pic was taken on my parent’s honeymoon. There’s one of my Mom posing on a rock in her bathing suit. She was hot! I should post it.
