It rained so hard yesterday, I was in a tizzy, making sure my basement would not flood!
We have hot and gross until Thursday where it will be hot and gross with thunderstorms, Same for Friday and then hot and gross on Saturday.
It used to be that we got two weeks of heatwave in the summer. Sometimes a third.
But this year we had in June (hardly ever happens) and now, July has been an onslaught.

Hot & Fucking Gross! It’s insane and not right. These rains, 20″ in an hour in Texas killing all those poor little girls. If this isn’t some kinda sign, I don’t know what is. Si! Tutti tutti pazzi!

Everyone is so damn cranky. And the rains – they hit all over the place. So sad what happened in Texas (even more sad is how awful many people have been about it).

I just finished Il Gattopardo… Pretty good. And you should particularly like it as it’s in Sicily just before it was annexed to Italy.
