“hang”. The amazing graphic shown below

No Theme Thursday. This is my flash.

“You failed me once, Saran, when you allowed the enemy to sneak in under cover of darkness and abduct my child. You have one chance to redeem yourself.” The Mongol queen’s horse snorted and pranced anxiously sensing his master’s anger. “General Saran! You have your orders!” the warrior queen declared, eyes blazing. “Return with my daughter, alive and unharmed. If you fail, your wife and children will hang!”

I’m glad you liked it. 😊
I was rather proud of that one myself. Not too shabby, I suppose. 🤷♂️
I’m trying to get back into the groove, just been slow going.

No, it truly is like torture. I’d rather be bored in that case, honestly.

A great story, Nancy, and as for the song: Wow! I love The Hu and have played them a few times on my blog, but didn’t know of Lzzy Hale before she did this one with them. Incredibly powerful, playing the role of the Mongol Queen to perfection.

So glad you liked both story and song, Clive. I also love The Hu and came across this song with Lzzy quite randomly while listening to my Hu playlist. As soon as I heard her voice, I jumped up, shouted “тэднийг өндөрт өлгө” (which is Mongolian for “hang ’em high!”), and the rest is history. 😂
баярлалаа! ☺️

Thanks, Sweets! The story was even shorter at first. Then I heard the song and got a bit carried away. It happens!
