Written for Sammi’s Weekend Writing Prompt #389
incorporating the word “hunter” in exactly 99 words.
Also responding to Gerry & Sue’s Weekly Prompts
Wednesday Challenge (“duplicity”) and Sue & Gerry’s
Weekly Prompts Weekend Challenge (“method”).
For further inspiration, I am using one of the amazing
graphic prompts created by Kevin at No Theme Thursday.
Here is my 99 word flash.

Meet Sir Malcolm Hendricks, Great White Hunter.
Eighteen months with no sightings of archeologist, Dr. Anthony Coombs; it is widely believed he was captured by the cannibal Korowai tribe of Indonesia. His wife has not given up hope; she has obtained the services of Hendricks to rescue Coombs by “any method necessary”.
Hendricks is no fool; chances of finding Coombs alive are scant but the 1.5 million dollars offered by Suzanne Coombs is as enticing as she.
Skeletal remains would suffice and Hendricks would be there to comfort the distraught widow. Duplicity? Yes! But Suzanne is so easily deceived.

I misread the opening sentence of your penultimate paragraph as ” is no FOOD” and conjured up starving cannibals . Fine interweave of prompts. Thanks!
