He was a creature of habit, never deviating from the norm.

Let the cat out at 7:00 every morning.

Thermostat set at a constant 68Âș.

Teeth cleaned every four months without fail.

Just as rivers flow downhill, his course was ever steady.

No goddamn way was he going to let his parking meter expire.
