Oven temperature set for 425ºF.
Brush turkey liberally with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt and drape bird with bacon strips. Place in oven and go watch the Macy’s Parade.
Return to heavenly, scrumptious golden-brown deliciousness.

We didn’t have turkey, either. I made manicotti which I brought to my son’s house for the first course. Dinner was roast pork with grilled root veggies. Very good!

Happy Easter Morning, dear Ivor. I’m about to have breakfast!
If I were cooking today, the menu would be homemade manicotti to start followed by grilled baby New Zealand lamb chops, asparagus and butternut squash.
I’m not cooking today so it’s anyone’s guess. 😂

Ohhhh that looks so good I can practically smell it! I baked Cornish Game Hens this time…I hope they’re good…as I get older I seem to be losing confidence in my reputation for being a pretty fine cook.

So far, no complaints from my mister but I do find myself looking through my recipes more often. I tell myself it’s for the pictures but I know the real reason! 😉 😀
