Back around 1974, our friend Drew scored tickets to a J. Geils concert and we all drove out to the venue only to find an empty parking lot with a handful of other people scratching their heads. Only then did Drew think to tell us he bought our tickets from some guy hawking them outside Tower Records; we’d all been scammed by fake tickets!
