Challenge #060. I chose Pic #4.
Here’s where the image took me.

Fine dining, basic necessities, and mini golf …. truly, civilization has reached its peak. Nothing says “sophisticated leisure complex” quite like a directional sign that essentially reads: “Eat. Poop. Play tiny golf.”
One imagines the planning committee’s meeting: “We need to guide visitors to our key amenities.”
“What are those?”
“Well, we’ve got food, bathrooms, and a putting green.”
“Perfect. That’s the whole human experience right there.”
The green color scheme really commits to the bit …. very “upscale forest resort meets roadside attraction.” It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a three-course meal, use facilities with whimsically British nomenclature, and then immediately work off your lunch by aggressively wielding a putter at a windmill.
The American Dream, distilled.

Using a putter to hit a golf ball at a windmill is Miniature Golf, and Pitch and Putt is a whole different animal. Pitch and Putt is almost like real golf, but all the holes are shorter. It’s ideal for beginners and for practicing the short game, focusing on pitching the ball onto the green and putting it into the hole.

And what, pray, is wrong with describing them as ‘toilets?’ At least they didn’t call them ‘the bog’ or ‘the khazi’ 🤣

Or other names that rhyme with ‘fitters’ or ‘wrappers’! 😂
